Herpes, ulcers, boils, what?!?!?!

Question: Hi there. I need some answers. I have been sexually active in the past, but always used a condom. The last time i had sex was in November 2007.

Recently, I noticed that I had a few red bumps where my pelvic area joins up with my thigh. i thought nothing of it seing as i shave. then i noticed a larger bump right my vagina ends, but not on my vagina. still on the part where i shave the hair off.

they small ones looked like a rash but one kind of looked like a popped pimple. then today, i had to rush home because i had to go to the washroom so bad.

so i was in the shower today and i was cleaning myself, i felt a large bump on my anus. so i took a mirror and looked at it. it's not open, not a blister or an ulcer. but i am not freaking out a bit.

sounds like herpes but i can't be sure and when i went and got tested last week they said they can not test for it until someone has an outbreak. so what do i do? does it sound like herpes? i have no tingling or anything.

I believe that you may have a condition called Hidradenitis Supprativa.of re-occurring boils/ cysts/abscesses , that are often misdiagnosed as ingrown hairs, herpes, being unclean or over wieght and folliculitis. This is a newly diagnosed skin condition , but there is a lot of info out there.
Here is a link :

or the HS_USA page is ..

If this sounds like it might be you, READ it, PRINT it out, and TAKE it to your DOC.
Its better to try to start treatment soon, it can spread over the body if left untreated. These boils can become quite large and painful. Sometimes even lasting for weeks or months , do not attempt to POP them they can then tunnel under your skin and spread all over the body. Most common areas are armpits, groin, binkni line, inner legs, and intimate places and basically anywhere that sweats and rub against clothing. Stress is a big inducer.

There is a support group at MSN

This is also a link to a PDF of a study in Germany about HS and if it is genetic... I thought it was intresting :

and a yahoo one, and I am open for questions!
I have had this for 8 years, I was misdiagnosed for a LONG time, It was very embarrassing, painful and scary. I am just trying to help out so you don
