I have a lump on my eye?!
Question: My eyelid swelled up last week for no reason. It felt like a vein in the side of my eye was swollen, like wat you get when you're really tired. The puffiness went down, but it's still red and I have a hard lump under the skin that feels like a little ball. What could it be. It is slightly painful and everyone's noticing!

probably a sty cauise by stress and being tired. are you?

i dont know if the doc can do anything about it or not, go ad ask and take a good multi vitamin
See a doctor... I can't even begin to guess at what is wrong.
it could by a sty. my friend had that from her mascara. just go to the doctor and they'll give you drops.

You have a stye - an infection of the glands in your eyelid. It's harmless and usually goes away on its own. If it doesn't clear up in a couple of days, see your doctor.
I guess it would be a stye, they can be very painful, you can get them when you are run down or ill but sometimes it can be an infected eyelash
it's probably a sty which is an infection in your eye, probably from falling asleep with make up on or rubbing your eyes. It goes away in about a week. Get some eye drops if it's bothering you.
My doctor gave me some advice about lumps --- he said if its getting smaller then its not likely to be anything serious.
You could have something in your eye like a hair,so it's probably best if you went to the docs,I'd probably wait a week though.
If you have had unprotected sex make sure you go to the doctor because you are more likely to be having an STD called chlamydia. Its very common and very treatable.
my sister had the same problem before;
what happened, she went to the doctor, and have it went under-knife, so that whatever inside will be taken out.
it got infected of some bacteria. maybe from scratching.
It could be a Chalazion Cyst.

I had one a few years ago. It goes away eventually, but you should see a doctor to find out if that's what it is.
sounds like a sty..... all sorts of things can cause it.. if you cant get to the doctors, just filling an egg cup full of warm water and a tiny tiny bit of salt and bathing your eye in it a few times a day should cleanse it sufficiently.... if you have used make up like mascara or eyeshadow brushes while you have had it then you should sterilise them in boiling water to kill any infection that might have passed onto them
I used to suffer the this , my Doctor said it was a cyst it has came up several times and went away without treatment. My sister had one removed surgically but it came back ,then when away without treatment. I think we got them when we were a bit run down. There is also a sty which is an infection and sometimes needs antibiotic
