Peanut allergy progression?!
Question: My sister has recently started breaking out in hives whenever she eats large amounts of peanut butter cups, yet she continues to try to eat smaller amounts than will trigger the symptoms. I try to discourage her for fear that her allergy will progress and become potentially life-threatening. Is it possible that her allergy will become worse if she continues to eat peanuts?

YES! The more you eat, the more antibodies build. The very next bite she takes could kill her. It's like a time bomb. Tell her to knock it off or have fun in the E.R.
I did keep eating even when I started reacting. It's stupid! I now can't even be around people eating them, or open contaners of them!
It is possible because I too have Allergy to Peanut and 26 other foods.When i was young in my mothers stomach she ate peanuts and her stomach got swollen up and i came out but i was in a bubble for a month then i got out but as the years went by my allergy kept on rising and getting worse.If your sister's reaction to peanut is alot Then It's possible .But if your sister stops eating alot of peanut butter she may outgrow the peanut allergy.
