Help with these symptoms please?!
Question: My 6 year old son has had quite alot of health problems over the past few year but this is a new one for me.
When he gets a bath he gets a red prickley heat type rash on his body. It is not the soap of shower gel taht he uses cause it happens with different ones. Last night he had a shower and his feet went like that, his feet were the only things that were in the water. It is very itchy for him and he gets upset.
Last night it looked as if his feet had been sun burnt.
Please help as I dont want him to keep getting upset but I can not stop washing him

Is the water too hot?
I get that alot but it goes away but yea it might be the heat of the water try not to make it too hot.
if it isn't the soap he is using, could it be the detergent from the washcloth or the cleaner you are using to clean the shower? it doesn't sound serious, just sounds like a skin reaction. Good luck. A lot of times with skin reactions the etiology is unknown. He may be a hypersensitive kid.
