Hepititis B transmission question?!
Question: Hepatitis B virus infection may either be acute (self-limiting) or chronic (long-standing). Persons with self-limiting infection clear the infection spontaneously within weeks to months.
If a person has acute hepatitis B, was treated and it went away, is it possible for them to transmit it to others through blood, sex, etc.? If so, for how long? Forever?

No, they will not have the active virus after they have cleared it, but their blood work will show they have the antibodies to it. Once you acquire the antibodies, it's like a vaccine; you are protected against getting it again.
