What should I do with this zit?!

Question: I have a zit coming in on my chin.
I can feel it everytime I touch my chin.
& I can tell it's a zit.
But you can't see it yet, cause it's kind of under my skin I guess?
It's been there for about 2 or 3 days.
1. When will it come above the skin?
&2. Is there any way I can get rid of it before it comes above the skin?

First of all, no one has flawless skin. Some people have it better than others, but thats just genes and stuff. Go to www.freewebs .com/reelbeauty11 for skin and beauty tips. I know its for young girls, but it works for anyone!

I know some people who have tried ProActive and it worked, but I also know some others who have tried it and it made it worse :( I know some who have put rubbing alchol on their skin or peroxcide to dry up the pimples. It also kills bacteria :) . Also, try going to a dermotoligist, or ask your regular doctor. Often times the regular doctor, who knows more about your med. history and whatnot can help you more than a dermatologist.

are you a vegetarian? That might have something to do with it. Its worth checking into.

Overall, remember that beauty counts more on the inside than on the outside, and your true friends will love you for you, and not your skin.

Oh, and try a different kind of foundation, if you wear it. Try to use a kind with lots of water in it. It looks great and doesn't clog pores half as bad. And check your habits - do you prop your chin up a lot with your hands? That might cause the acne as well. Look for the cause, as well as the cure.

Molly:), dont pop it otherwise it will leave a scar. try an icecube i heard it works :)

I have the same thing on my forehead. It's really painful. I heard that you can rub tea tree oil on it, or apply heat to the zit. The heat should bring it to the surface but don't squeze it! That will just spread the infection.

1. go get some vinegar
2. get a cup
3. pop it!!!!
4. Scream

take a hot shower, that might bring it up to a "poppable" status. You dont want to push it too soon, otherwise it will just scab up and last longer.....you might need to wait a day or 2. Then bust that puppy all up on the mirror

It should surface in a few days. Don't try to pop it before it does surface, or it will leave a real nasty mark, that may not go away for awhile.

Most of the time you just have to ride those ones out. I hate them! Had a really bad one by my mouth the other day n it made me look like I had a swollen mouth!! Just keep bombarding it with spot lotions n potions and hope that it just goes real quick once it appears. Also don't keep touching it as that'll agrivate it and make it red.

This might not help for this time, but you have to get something called drying lotion. 2 good one are Darcy and serious skin care. You have to buy them online or at Ulta. It is a pink lotion you dab on the zit and it dries it out overnight. It is the best stuff EVER. If you live close to an ulta, go and pick it up or else go online and get it

Do not work with it until it has come to the surface and is ready to pop. It hurts a lot, but the best thing to do is keep your hands off your face. You should just wait until it is ready, unless it is puffy, red and sore, and clearly visible to others, then you do not have much to lose... and should try your best, but do not keep pressuring your skin if you don't have any progress in at least one minute, this can damage your skin and cause more problems than just one irritable zit.
