Answers: How would I know I got 1???

The first two answers are completely correct. A yeast infection is very itchy, on the outside, and inside. It creates a cottage cheese like discharge, however, if there is a very strong fishy oder then it may be an STD, can't quite remember which one. If this is your first Yeast Infection, go to the doctor. After the first time, if you get them again, you'll know just what to expect and can go to the local drugstore for Monistat. I've also heard an old wives tale....get a GLASS, fill with water first thing in the morning. Before you brush your teeth, or put anything in your mouth spit in the glass. If your spit is really stringy, like a spider web, then it's a yeast infection.

Trust you would know. You would have this itching that's none stop i mean unbearable also you would have discharge that looks like cottage cheese.

Painful urination and an itch that will just about kill you. The more you scratch, the more it itches and burns.

You might itch, have a foul smelling discharge, and your discharge can be white and curdy. If you've never had one before, go to the doctor to have it diagnosed for sure (because this could be an STD also), and he'll prescribe a nice cream that will relieve your symptoms.

Itchy and white milky discharge from down below not usually painful. I would advise to get canesten combi pack from drug store (over the counter) and see if it goes away (no need for prescription). If you have pain especially when you go pee it is likely a urinary tract infection and you need to see a doctor and get antibiotics.

Yogourt will help with yeast infection (just check ingredients for active bacterial culture) ...

Hope you are feeling better soon.

If you have it and want a natural cure, get some Acidophilous aka Probiotics, or you can eat a bunch of yogurt.

Acidophilous is also good for your digestive system.

You should also take it if you are on Antibiotics because they don't discriminate, they kill the good and the bad. Which is why you are more likely to get a yeast infection when you are on them. If you are taking antibiotics take the acidophilous about a half hour to an hour later.

Also as a preventive measure add cranberry juice to your lifestyle.
