Question: Ok, I have been haveing adominal pain while urinating (not cramps), cloudy dark pee, and I drink the normal amout of liquid. If I drink some water, within 5 minutes I have to pee. Is this a urinary tract infection or something else? I don't know if this helps, but I have been more tired than usual. Thankyou so much for any answers!

Burning when you pee indicates an infection but if the pee is dark and has a fowl odor it may be a kidney infection or bladder. I would drink nothing but clear liquids until see a Dr. but you don't need to wait on this it could do damage to your kidneys. It's a possibility that your u.t. needs to be stretched. this is fairly common among women. If it is kidney problems you may have a back ache. Buy don't wait get an appointment today or see if they will work you in.

Most likely a UTI. Go to the drug store and in the vitamin section get some cranberry pills (they worked for me, but you're symptoms seem worse than what I had). If you're not better in three days see a doctor. I know someone who's died from a UTI. Not saying you're going to die, but you should get it checked out before you damage your body.

sounds like you are on the right track. I bought a bag of whole cranberries and juiced them and drank it. I t worked for me. However, if you don't have a juicer I recommend the cranberry pills.

The first thing to do is to NOT PAY ATTENTION to people on the internet trying to play health care provider. The cranberry cure is a load of crap! Several years ago the medical community issued warnings that cranberries were responsible for certain cancers. GO SEE YOUR DOCTOR!! Or, if you can't afford one and you live in or near a large metro area you should be able to avail yourself of a free or reduced-cost clininc. At any rate, the condition is not normal, so don't take the advice of someone who tells you to go buy something at a store and wait a few days to see if it gets better-it likely will not!
