How to cure Gas Trouble ? i am getting more sound from my stomach pls help me?!

Question: Here are a few things for improving gastric problems until u meet up with a doc
1. Add "ajwain" in your atta for rotis, if u have home made food. (Ajwain - is a commonly used indian spice/herb)
2. Add garlic to your meals.
3. Add asoefoetida(heeng) in daals and vegetables. - its good for removing gas.
4. Dont eat fruits after food immediately.
5. Dont lie down immediately after eating a heavy meal, infact do the vajra aasan - sit on your knees after a meal for a couple of minutes atleast if not 1/2 an hour.
6. Do a lil bit of a walk (NOT brisk!) for a couple of minutes to 1/2 an hour for food digestion.
7. Have a healthy breakfast - like cereal and brown bread toast.
8. Dont stay on an empty stomach, keep snacking on healthy things every 2-3 hrs
9. A lil bit of exercise never hurts anyone.. if its our traditional yoga, all the better!
10. Last but not the least, avoid fried stuff. (Iknow it kills not to have it, but kills even more to have it.)

Here are a couple of more tips -
-Try not to swallow too much air during meals and chew thoroughly. Air swallowing usually happens when you speak during meal. Also some people tend to swallow saliva very frequently when eating which causes additional air in the stomach.
- Cut on carbonated drinks (like sodas and beer) which cause a lot of belching. This is a simplest method to stop this uncomfortable symtpom.
- Another simple remedy is cutting on food which produces lots of air in the stomach. Examples are onions, milk, ice cream, etc.. You should be able to find such food yourself by noting after which food belching increases.
- Do not swallow air when speaking. This is a very common problem to many people.
- Cutting milk and milk products could bring some relief. Large % of adults have lactose intolerance. So consider stopping milk consumption for some time and you may get partial or complete relief of your symptoms. For lactose intolerant people milk could cause lots of gas bloating and excessive burping.

Hope the above typical "daadi ma kay nuskay" work out for you and help! :).. though it turned out to b a bit too long..

Cheers and good health

Eat healthy and regularly !

dnt worry be happy:)

Hmm i suggest staying away from home cures and see a doc asap - there may be various reasons for that from stress to food poisoning so best to check yourself in....

take one raw garlic and chew in the empty stomach daily,

sit on your legs for 10 minutes after eating meal i.e. bend you knees and sit as your feet/heel touching your bottom, it will def. help you.

Ok, you should look into cleansing your digestive system. Buy a laxative and use it a couple times until you get all that gunk out. Also, a good healthy habit to get into is to take fiber as a supplement each morning. Metamucil is really good and inexpensive. You put it into your drink each morning and that will regulate your bowel movements and help you get rid of that nasty gas. You might not be going to the bathroom as often as you should. I read in a health book that a healthy person should be having bowel movements, minimum twice a day. Also, you should pay attention to the kinds of food that you eat and take notice which ones give you gas (i.e. beans, brocoli, cabbage, etc. ) If you are lactose intolerant then eating things like icecream, milk, cheese, etc will definetely give you gas.

EAT HEALTHY AND WHEN THAT HAPPENS LIE DOWN ON YOUR STOMACH

Never be hungry. Dont be hungry for more than 3hours. Always keep biscuits, fruits or anything with you so that you can constantly fill your stomach. Drink lots of water..

Buy Carbon tablets from Drug store and take them 4 times a day.

don't eat much spicy and oily food. drink ENO whenever it happens, it will give u relief in minutes

u have to take less fat food & more greens, that too in time so you can cure from gas problem
