Well I have the flu right now and I am taking sudafed for my congestion and darvocet every now and then to help with the pain. That seems to help my throat also. Tomorrow will be day 5 for me and I still have a high fever. i hope it will go away then i know i will feel much better. Someone told me to also try green tea. i am drinking it right now to see if it may help. Vitamin C is also supposed to help.

I am sorry that you got sick. This Winter has been very mild for us here in NJ and people are sick left and right here. I just got over being sick as well and was shocked to learn about taking Airborne while I was sick. Airborne is loaded with Vitamin C and other Vitamins that prevent you from getting sick, but it also improves your immune system to get over being sick quicker. I was shocked by this, but within a day or two I was feeling much better. Its all natural and worth a try. Good luck

call up your crush!
thats what im gonna do right now!
im sick too

Drink hot tea with lemon and honey, and if you don't mind alcohol, add some rum, brandy or whiskey.

try this recipe, cut up lots of ginger and garlic and boil like soup,
add some miso or soy sauce for color, add as much cayenne pepper as you can stand, simmer, strain, and drink a big cup.
This will knock out the worst cold/flu whatever and give you a boost, it'll clear your sinus too

Cinnamon tea. Boil some water, and add a cinnamon stick. Let it steep until it turns reddish-brown. Add honey. Yummy!

It will make you sleepy, and while you're asleep you'll sweat and you'll wake up feeling a little better.

Try breathing in steam from boiling water. Add chopped ginger or cayenne pepper to the water to clear your sinus. Or, have a hot shower or bath.
Drink loads of water, put on a good dvd and relax.
