Why is it acceptable to make jokes about herpes but not AIDS?!
Question: Us folks with herpes only have an "aggrivation" and it's funny because most of it have it due to our own ignorance....

It's not acceptable to make jokes about either. They are both horrible diseases. It's never acceptable to make jokes about somebody else's pain.
It's not acceptable to make jokes about either. 1 in 4 have herpes, and when you joke, you are joking in the faces of people who have it, unknowingly. Not cool. Jokes like that aren't even funny.

You shouldn't make jokes. but the diffrence is most people with herpes get them from their OWN wrong doing, ex. unprotected sex. But there are thousands of children born with hiv, that don't have a choice, you don't see children born with herpes like u do with hiv. neither one is funny, and people with hiv will die due to the disease one day.
It's not acceptable to make jokes about either. But people think it's okay to joke about herpes because it's not fatal. As far as getting it do to OUR own wrongdoing, well there goes that judgement factor again. Who are you to judge? For all you know, you may have herpes, or some form of it, as well.
