Is there anything to make a scar less noticeable?!

Question: My wife just had surgery and the incision runs from just under the sternum to the top of her pubic hair line. Is the anything that will make it less noticable. I heard viatamin E is good for healing and preventing scars. Does anyone know about this?

Yes vitamin E, go to your local pharmacy and they have scar serum that is very rich in vitamin E

Try mederma... it's an over the counter creame that helps reduce the appearance of scarring.. It's quite pricey at about $10 a tube but it works tremendously!.. and from what i hear, Vitamin E does help with skin and hair.. it wouldn't hurt to give it a shot..

Viatamin E does work i used it on my arm after i broke it. most people do not even see my scar. mederma also works

Bio Oil is excellent!

How long ago did your wife have surgery? I have also heard that vitamin E can help scarring, but check with your physician prior to applying it if she is still in the early healing period, you dont want to cause an infection. Wow, she had a large surgery? Be glad that she came threw and is alive and well. Best of luck to you.
