Career in CIA NSA MI5 MI6 FBI with Diabetes Type 1?!

Question: I am looking for a job in CIA NSA MI5 MI6 FBI, in some sort of office-based field. The most likely career paths do not require any other physical tests that I can see, however does Diabetes Type 1 (insulin) prevent me from obtaining such a job?

Even if it doesnt, from someone with experience, does this put me at a disadvantage based on what you have heard/seen?

Thanks for all answers in advance,
Joe

I'm ex infantry, but I was also my unit's intelligence officer. While the Military would probably not approve your condition. You could work for them in a non Military role.

MI 5 and 6 are short for Military 5 and 6 domestic and international Intelligence. You would have to be British to work for them.

The others you would have to be American. If you have several languages your chances improve drastically. Most of these jobs require at least one university degree.

I must warn you though these are very boring jobs.

im pretty sure if they deny you a job based on your IDDM that you could probably sue them and never have to work. it has to be illegal

I'm 14 and have diabetes. I'm not shure but if you work in an office employers shouldn't mind.
