omg i remember the same thing happening to me, i delevoped really early, i started wearing training bras' when i was 9, so i deffinently know its really painful, it stopped hurting when i was about 11or 12, i really dont remember, but it seems like your developing normally, since its happening now when your 12, but its not cancer, cancer is when you feel lumps in your breast and teens/adolessents dont get it till their fine out of puberity, but if your really concerned ask your doctor to teach you how to give yourself a breast exam, my dad told me i should learn how soon too, but theres nothing to worry about, im 14 now and it stopped hurting a long time ago.if you want you can contact me , i'll answer your questions, i've been through what your going through.

It's normal right now.

Since you're still going through puberty, these things happen to everyone. No worries =]

Sounds normal to me. See a doctor if you are worried.

sounds to me like your boobs are growing, your at an age where puberty can kick in, its nothing to worry about! if your really scared dont be embarrassed to show your mum im sure she will explain everything you need to know.;-)

You are just starting breast development; what you describe is normal.

All you want to hear is that you're growing boobs......get real....listen to your mom next time and stop wasting our time.

It's called growing pains. Get a good sports bra, the support will help some.

Most women's breast get sore when it's time for their periods. The bigger your breasts are the more tender they tend to get.

This can also happen when you start growing.

I don't believe that you need to worry about cancer.

However, I don't believe your mother should have said that kids your age don't get it. It's less likely for someone your age to get it. Though, I'm not your mother...

What you're describing sounds completely normal. Happens to me all of the time. Jumping is especially painful. Don't think too much about it. If it lasts more than a month then think about seeing a doctor, but it probably won't :-)

Don't worry... it's perfectly normal...

Consider it 'GROWING' pains, dear.
Now run along and listen to your Mom, Ok?

Do you believe in god or your luck .?
do you believe in god or your luck .

It sounds like the normal pains and soreness that happen when your breasts are developing.

I recommend a great book by Dr Susan Love called "The Breast Book".

It is considered the "bible for women with breast cancer" - but it is primarily just a really great book about breast development - what happens when your breasts are growing, what other problems can happen and what to expect.

I think reading it would help you to understand what is happening right now and to be prepared for any problems that might occur in the future.

Honey, no it's not cancer. You would feel a lump on your breast if it was breast cancer. This is completely normal for girls going through puberty. I'm 14 and my breats hurt when I press on them too. There is NOTHING to be worried about.

Hope I helped :]
