Not sure where you shop but I go to a place named Woodman's up here in Wisconsin and for a 12 pack of Scott's regular I only pay $7.85. It's also about the same price at the local Sam's club's. Maybe you need to purchase one without the lotion or the unquilted brand. Also, the Scott's brand has more sheets on a roll so that it lasts longer. I have five girls plus myself. You do the math as to how many rolls you think we go through in a month. Guess what only 24. I tought them to be frugal and to use only as much as they truly need. Most children use way to much. I hope you can find a better supplier. Good luck.
Just do what they did before toilet paper was invented, use a newspaper and if that is too rough then use a magazine the glossy finish shoulnt be too bad.
My goodness gracious! I'm wondering what store you are shopping at. I live in northern Idaho and shop at Super One Foods store. I get 24 rolls of toilet paper in one big package for UNDER $5.00. You are paying twice that amount for half the paper. If I were you, I would try some different stores. Also, when it goes on sale, stock up on it if you can. Good Luck!
