Can an MRI scan of the brain...?!

Question: tell if someone has suffered from a stroke?

Answers: tell if someone has suffered from a stroke?

yes and no...it depends on duration of the stroke..and the time b/t u had the stroke and when u had an MRI is very crutial.
(ofcorz its useless to say this in case of massive hemorrhagic or embolic strokes.)

Most definitely yes!
MRI gives you a 3D picture.
Stroke will show a blood clot

if you mean can it show if someone has stroke the answer is yes it is very sensitive , if your question can it cause stroke no it cannot

Yes. An MRI with contrast is probably the best way to see if someone has had a stroke.

The contrast makes the blood vessels easily visible, and it makes it so you can see the little dead areas where a stroke has done damage--they appear as white spots on an MRI. If there is currently a rupture in a vessel, and someone is still bleeding in their brain, that will show up on an MRI, as well.

A CT scan can show if someone has had a stroke, as well, but an MRI is better, as it is better at imaging soft tissues, and that is, after all, what's in your head, and what is affected by a stroke.

Yes
An MRI can provide a total 3D image of the brain. An MRI can also see deeper tissue also by increasing the beam intensity. An MRI is the technology to see into soft tissue so it can be used to view internal organs as well as cartilage and even spinal discs

It can not see by itself, a magnetic "dye" is injected into the patient which allows the magnetic energy to excite certain area. MRI - Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
