Is this a cold, or allergy-related?!

Question: Okay, 2 days ago, I woke up with my throat just BARELY sore. I wasn't coughing or anything that day, it just felt a little bit sore. The next day (yesterday), my throat was worse. In the beginning of the day, it was just my throat, then as the day went on, my sinuses started acting up. So I started intaking alot of Vitamin C last night and today I woke up and my throat isn't as bad as yesterday, but my sinuses are still pretty bad. I'm not coughing as hard or as much as yesterday but my throat still does feel kinda itchy/tingly. I sneeze once in a while. And my mucus (sorry for the disgusting word) is clear and watery-like. What do you think I have? A cold, or something allergy related?

Whenever I get "episodes", they're EXACTLY like yours. For me, it's chronic sinusitis from allergies. I usually will get one in September, then one in October, and possibly one in November every year like clockwork. After about 4 days, you should start feeling better. They really can't give you an antibiotic for it, unless it hangs on a long time, or you start to get colored discharge. Make sure to get plenty of rest, drink fluids, and take OTC meds for the symptoms.
