An allergy is a hypersensitivity to many different things.
Those who have a hypersensitivity to one thing often are allergic to something else.

I am allergic to cats, dogs, dust, birds etc..

Having multiple allergies is in fact very common.

If you are allergic to something else besides cats--your eyes may get red and watery, you may sneeze or have symptoms of asthma.

You can get allergy tested. Also if you have allergic symptoms when you are not around cats, another allergy is suspected. There are LOTS of people that have numerous allergies.

yyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!... my mom is algeric to like everything (not realy) but shes alergic to alot of things

yes they can my son had allergy test and he was allergic to several things.

Oh yeah! You can be allergic to hundreds of things, from foods to dust to animals to grass to the sun. If you can think of it, it's possible for you to be allergic to it.

The key is finding out exactly WHAT you are allergic to! An allergist can perform testing on you to poinpoint exactly what it is that you're allergic to. Sometimes this consists of the allergist mixing several different serums together and testing you, or he/she may subject you to individual serums - especially if you have some sort of idea of what you might be allergic to (for instance, animals -- they will test many different individual animals to pinpoint which one(s) you are allergic to).

It's not an easy series of tests to go through -- in fact, I'll be honest -- it HURTS! Not at first, but after the first hundred sticks or so, the needles begin to really hurt.

Good luck -- it's definitely worth finding out what you're allergic to so that you can get a medication to help you!

yes definitely... it means that your immune system is hyperactive and it reacts to most allergens...

that is the reason why most asthmatic patients have numerous allergies as well...

if you are an allergic person stay away from allergens.. if you dont have it now... you might develop it later
