Finger keeps going numb? help!?!

Question: My finger has been going numb off and on for a while now. I would say approx once a month or so. Last time it happened I was at my Aunts house and it wasn't because of the way I was sitting or something like that. I got up and was walking around and it was still numb for a couple of hours before it finally went away. What is wrong with me?!!

its possible that stress can bring on the numbness, i do have that issue, but with stress comes high blood pressure, or it could be blood pressure in general. being stressed can convert into physical symptoms, it dose not mean that your a head case. Sometimes it happens for no reason. I would recomend that you see your doctor to rule out any circulatory or neurological issues, that is if you want to see a doctor, at home you can just monitor your blood pressure closely to see if there is any connection between the issues. the doctor visit is a much better option. also if its only one finger and not say like a whole arm or side of body it could be something local with nerves, your doctor will probably look into that though.

could be a pinched nerve try to go see a chiropractor

its probably a circulation issue. you need to see a dr about it. i knew a girl in highschool that had a problem with circulation. every now and then her hands would just start turning grey/blue from lack of blood and be really icy cold

i wouldthink itsthelack of circulation keep makig a fist openclosehand aswell aswatch for color in finger you dontwantit to turn black or blueor grey if you hvto run warmwaterheat upfingeryou haveto getthe bolldto that finger lots of luck sorry i could not help further
