Am allergic to seafood. Why is that? It tastes so good.:'-(?!

Question: There are several causes for this:

1. You have been allergic from birth. I am not familiar with this, but I do know it does not typically go away.

2. You have become allergic. If you eat a food when the lining of your colon is inflamed, you may develop an allergy or intolerance. If you would like more info on this, please email me at vballcrazy1234@yahoo.com! I know a lot about this, and there is a cure for it :)

NOTE: Don't eat it if you are allergic to it. This can cause inflamation, which leads to further allergies/ intolerances, or it may cause existing ones to be worse.

If anyone else wants some info on this, as well, feel free to contact me!

My Dad has the same problem, and I'm so glad I don't, because I love sea food!!!!

Hope you find the answer you need!!

Good luck, and good health!! :)

Have you always been allergic?

I will 'sometimes' have a reaction. I've ended up in ER with them. But then there are other times (most), that I am just fine with it.

I think for me, combining seafood with wine (the sulfites in wine) causes a reaction.

And, if the seafood isn't absolutely FRESH I will have a reaction.

Since I take care in thinking about the above two scenarios, I haven't had an issue in about 6 months.

But I keep an EPIpen.

(friends think Iam insane for still eating it, but I LOVE it sooo much)

You should have told what do you exactly have... if its a life threatening allergy or just a mild one and you should have mentioned your age.
Some allergies just disappear as we grow older.
If you develop symptoms like respiratory distress or unconsciousness, just completely avoid it.
if the symptoms are mild.
then one thing may be tried
but cant' be certain whether it will be effective.
But you should try and tell me whether you benefitted.
This is a scientific approach.
Start with a very small daily dose of sea food. initially that can be just one spoon ful/day for one week. make it 1.5 spoons.day in second week. continue this for 6 months. increasing your sea food intake by 0.5 spoons per week. even if mild allergy, occurs consult your doctor to take some anti allergic. I will again mention dont' do this if allergy is severe or life threatening. Try this it may help.....
