My temperature is 102.3. is it partially because of room temperature?!

Question: This morning, my temp started out at 99.1 and slowly, all day, it has risen to 102.3.

i find this hard to believe. i mean, i can feel the pain, trust me, i feel horrible. but, im worried that when i check my temp under my arm, that its partially because the room im in is about 80.

Also, when i put it under my tongue, i think its coming out so high because i think i have strep throat, so ive been storing saliva (sorry) and it gets real warm in there (sorry again).

does room temp affect the temp a thermometer records at all?? thanks guys this is really important.

Your body wont get higher temperatures than the normal it does. We have an internal termostat, our body knows what the temp we must be. If the room is too hot you would (i dunno how to say in english) [lose water by your skin] and would be at the same temp always.
Higher temperatures mean infections, find a doctor now.

Not likely. It would be more affected by something you recently ate or drank.

uhhh no...i don't think it affects it. it can be called....a fever.
you need to go the doctors immediately.
