Could I have been killed by my severe anemia?!

Question: I went maybe about half of a month with undiagnosed Severe Anemia from heavy periods.
I got diagnosed with it about 2 days ago.
My Hemoglobin levels were at 7.3 when they should been above a 10.
They were considering a blood transfusion.
Could it have killed me if I didn't go to the doctor when I did?

As anemia becomes more severe and your hemoglobin drops you would experience many symptoms that would alert you that something is wrong. You would be very tired, dizzy, have difficulty breathing, pass out. This would be a slow process. It is possible to die from severe anemia but you would have symptoms and hopefully seek medical attention first.
Hope you're feeling better!
