There's this weird bump on the inside of my leg...HELP!?!
Question: There's a bump on the upper part of my thigh and it's really swollen and red and painful. The texture of it was unusually hard and I tried squeezing it to make it go away and a lot of pus came out when I tried that. I have no idea what this is. Do any of you? Help!

how many bumps? if there's a couple of red bumps with obvoius puss in the middle... well... uhm... could be herpes. if its just on your inner thigh, it could've been there for a long time and something triggered it to appear.
now if its one big bump, its boil. there would be an "eye" in the middle of a hard swollen round surface on your skin. thats the thing they force the puss out by chugging the mouth part of a bottle on it. totally harmless. some even have fever though.
do not touch it unless its "ripe." apply hot compress to ripen and relieve the pain.
research herpes/boil/carbuncle pictures in google. STARE AND COMPARE.
Most likely a pimple. Leave it alone or pop it.

Sounds like a boil....put a hot wet cloth on it so that it can come to a head and all the pus can come out. After that happens, clean it with rubbing alcohol.

Its a boil... and they hurt bad. get some boil ease and keep it clean....

i had them[yes, plural] for a really long time...but they eventually went away. They are ***** and gross...so make sure they dont spread....that's the most part. Make sure you clean them [ or it ] with soap and water and keep it clean !

most likely an ingrown hair. happens sometimes when shaving with a duller blade. dont pick at it, it can scar. but if its still open put some rubbing alcohol on it cause it will dry it up. other than that, you'll have to wait for the hair to start growing out of the skin. usually once its done that, you can either let it heal or pull the hair because sometimes that helps it clear up a little faster
it could be a pimple or a bug bite that's infected. its probly not anything to serious. i've gotten onna those on my tummy

It is likely a boil. They can get quite big. Just keep squeezing it. It will hurt, but as long as you keep the puss out of it, it will go away. Just make sure to keep it drained!
Either a pimple or ingrown hair...try to keep from squeezing it..but do so if it fills up with pus again..and keep it clean with antibiotic ointment and bandage. It should go away in several days.
Could be an infected ingrown hair.

A relative of mines had this. It sounds like a boil. Hot water and alcohol does the trick. Just wait until the head of the boil is shown, then pop it. Afterwards rub alcohol on it to keep from spreading because, if you don't, it will create more boils. Trust me, I've seen this happen and it's not a pretty sight.
sounds like staph infection. I get them all the time...usually in areas of excess fat, or an previously open wound. what I do is pop it (grit your teeth and fight the pain, i know these hurt like heck) then clean it with alcohol. Bandage it for about half a day, or overnight, then take the bandage off to let it breath and heal. It should go down quite fast. DO NOT touch it a lot or bump, scratch etc. These will spread very easily. There is a special body wash you can buy at Walgreens or Rite Aid etc that helps to eliminate the bacteria from entering new scratches and wounds. Throughly wash your body and hands daily to avoid more of these bumps. If the bumps keep popping up you need to go to a doctor and they will most likely give you and antibiotic. If you let them get very large, it's very unlikely it will heal normally. I let one get of out hand and ended up in the ER having minor surgery to drain the huge thing. NOT FUN!

i feel your pain girlfriend!! i got something like that on my face by my neck. its not drainin, it just itches like a mo fo!!! i don't know what it is and its freakin me out. i asked a question on here too. i work at a day care and they'll probly make me go to the doctor cuz i work in the infant room. if i find out anything i'll let you know. other than that all i can say is "we got the funk!" haha.
