I have been sick for 5 days!!!!?!
Question: I have been to Urgent Care where they tested me for strep throat and the flu and both were negative. 2 days after that went into the ER with a pounding headache. I insisted on a CT scan, everything was fine and they prescribed me viccodin and anti-nausea medicine. I took the anti-nausea medicine for a day until it was gone. I didn't fill the viccodin perscription because it makes me throw up. and now it is 2 days later. My symtoms have included extreme pounding headaches, dizziness, runny-stuffed up nose, cough, sore throat, shakeyness, my heart is pounding, and I have felt soo nauseous the whole five days, but haven't actually thrown up yet, just dry heaves. I am not dehydrated I have been drinking plenty of water, juice and sports drinks, and have been able to eat crackers, toast, and soup. My mom has watched my 17 month old baby this whole time but I have to get him back today, I hope I don't pass it on to him. I have sprayed clorox anywhere surface, everywhere.

My daughter has the same thing and it has been over 2 weeks and she is just not any better. She is going today for a catscan of the sinus cavaty and a brain scan. The doctors thinks she has an impacted sinus cavaty. You might want to go to an ENT to see if there is something that the other doctors are missing.
I had what sounds like the same thing. Nausea, no vomiting, etc. It was very scary. I really thought I was not ever going to get well. I was in bed for 4-5 days. Thank heaven it was a holiday weekend (Thanksgiving) and I had 4 days off work. I went to work on the 5th day and gradually began to feel better and better.
I hope you feel better soon. If it keeps dragging on, go back to the doctor, especially if you get new symptoms or the symptoms worsen.
