I bought some Neosporin for my acne scars on my arms?!

Neosporin only helps healing wounds, not scars. Try an acne scar cream. Go to www.drugstore.com and type in scar. A whole list of them will come up including ratings from people who have tried them.
it may work a little, but it is going to take a lot of apllications.
try mederma
I would try vitamin e. I've used it on burns and the scares fade quite a bit. You can buy capsules and then open them and apply it to the scar
That might be best make sure it has Vitamin E
Neosporin isn't going to do anything for scars. It's an antibiotic ointment meant to control bacteria grows, which has nothing to do with scars.
Try Mederma. It's designed to soften scars and help them fade.
As you know scars are already healed so neos. isnt going to do much for you......if you are trying to fade or dim your scars go with a coco butter cream which is less expensive...if money is of no importance than go with the more expensive scar and stretch marks remover cream.....any one carries them...walmart-walgreens-or any local drug store.
