Could I get MRSA from sleeping in someones bed?!

Question: You can catch MRSA from linen, towels, razors, soap, in fact, anything that has been shared with a person who has been diagnosed with MRSA.

And contrary to popular belief, it does not have to infect an open wound. You can transmit MRSA from your own hand-to- mouth actions. In any situation where you are thinking of sharing equipment... Don't do it...

In communal settings, always use liquid soap, your own towels and razor. MRSA bacterium has been found living on soap bars, record charts, bedside cabinets, in dust particles, to name but a few. It can also be spread through sexual intercourse.

If you want to remain immune to staph infections and various other diseases and viruses, take an antimicrobial agent on a daily basis. Keep away from antibiotics.

No.
Methicillin Resistant Staph. Aureus... That bacteria is normal flora living on our skin. It infects hair follicles causing folliculitis, abscesses etc. It may infect open sores. If you don't have an open sore on the skin, you getting that infection is unusual.
