Dry itchy legs during the winter?!

Question: My legs are so dry during the winter. They have never been this dry before. They are so dry they itch. I made an appointment with my dermatologist, but they are so booked I can't see them until like a month! What is the best lotion out there that can stop this.. I mean I have never had dry skin.. So, it is really weird for me. Any advice on lotion, shaving creme, everything! Please and thank you.

Libriderm makes a very good moisturizing lotion. My skin gets drier in the winter than it does in the summer and I have to moisturize more often. If I didn't use it daily, mine would get "itchy" dry, too. It has something to do with the cold temperatures.Try Lubriderm before you spend big bucks on a dermatologist.

When I shave my legs, I use one of those shavers that has the moisturizing ring around the heads.....it's called Intuition.

The body can change with time. Just because you've never had something doesn't mean you never will.

Try the new product made by the brand Vaseline it's a cocoa butter gel - and use it in the shower (Shave your legs with it)
the life span of your razor is less but the product helps so much. You can also use a lufa with it and rub it in the shower and then towel dry.

(It's clear with a brown top) found in the drug store. Roughly under $10..

I always get itchy winter legs until this year. Last summer, I became vigilant about taking daily fish oil. Lubricates the body from the inside out.
I also exfoliate with table sugar or salt and massage oil into my skin. I avoid anything with mineral oil and stick to olive, grapeseed, etc.

I have extremly dry legs also but Cocoa Butter Solid works magic. The best thing ever. Palmers makes a good one. They are cheap, around $5.00 at most stores.

I always get dry itchy skin during the winter season. Its a very common problem. However, ensure after a shower you moisterise your skin thouroughly, invest in a moisture rich cream.

My personal favourite, is Aquiaus cream its superb, works moreorless immediately, or better still Aquiaus calamile lotion, the Aquiaus moisterises your skin whilst the calamile relives the itching...give it a go. Guaranteed to work.
