Dry skin on face?!

Question: Every time I wash my face, I always get dry skin peeling off between my eyebrows and on both cheeks. If I don't wash my face, the dry skin never shows up but when I wash, it shows up. I scrub but it doesn't seem to help. What can I do to get rid of it?

Your probably using a harsh soap on your face. You have to take care of your skin! Try going to the clinique counter and getting a 3 step skin care for your skin type. Not trying to promote them but maybe your clueless about what type of skin you have I dunno.

Mouisterizer is your friend =)

Ever hear of lotion? It is something that combats dry skin... you should look into it.

Try putting shea butter on it at night before bedtime. I assume it happens worse because it's winter?

You can buy lots of products that contain shea butter but I'd try to find one that is pretty much 100%. It'll work well.

It sounds like you may need to change soaps and getting something less harsh on your skin. In addition, you can try the plain Aveeno lotion, just a dab on the dry areas. I have found it very helpful without being super-oily on winter skin.

My face gets pretty dry as well. I use Curel intensive for extra-dry skin. It works majic. Its the best over the counter product (at least for me) for a dry face. Its gentel too.

If you are using SOAP on your skin that maybe the reason why you are peeling. Use skin products made especially for your face. I'd try using skin products for sensitive skin. Whatever you are using is just a side effect! I don't know how old you are but I have been using Principle Secrets and it's great! It leaves my skin soft and glowing! It's wonderful products for your skin. You are never to young to start taking care of your skin. Principle Secrets will balance your skin out. You'll love it! So give it a try. Oh, drink lots of water it's really good for your skin!
