Why do I get red/blotchy skin that is itchy?!

Question: I've noticed ever since i was small, i'd random get this break out of something similar to a rash. Although, out of no-where, it gets itchy, bumpy/blotchy and red. I know you guys would suggest it to be an insect bite, but it's not and i have a prescription for a cream that will apparently ease infected areas. At the moment, my face is red and blotchy. I sometimes get it on other areas besides my face. Such as hands, thighs and fingers. However, it eventually goes away after about an hour or so, do you know what it is?

It could be hives. If it is you will need to take an antihistermine. (like piriton etc)
Search 'hives' in yahoo images. I know online diagnosis is not the best - BUT you might see similarities.

My daughter has something similar - goes after an hour or so. The doc said it could be an allergy, or a heat rash. The point is an antihistermine cures it even though we dont know the real cause.

You can buy one over counter at the pharmacy. Or speak to your doctor.

Good Luck x

possibly bed bugs or parasites wash your bed sheets or take a bath like 3 times a day or something if it dont help then go see a doctor

It could be related to a skin rash. See the skin rash page at the site below.
