Does Vyvanse make anyone else crash early in the day?!

Question: I take Vyvanse for my ADD. It helps soooo much in the morning, but at 12:30-1:30, somewhere in there I just crash. I feel like it is time for a good nights sleep but it is only 1:00pm.
My doctor prescribed me some Adderall to help with it, but I don't think he understands what it is like. I feel almost as tho I cannot function. It would be nice to have the fog lifted off of my mind for the entire day, but the extra bit of Adderall does little to help. At first I thought this might be a good solution, but now it is as if I have built up a tolerance to it.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me? More energy drinks?

I'm on Vyvanse as well and no, it seems to last REALLY long for me. Too long in fact, however, the longer I've been taking it, I have developed a tolerance. I'm planning on asking my doc to up my dosage next month because he said that he would adjust it accordingly.

How many mgs of each are you prescribed anyway?

I really don't see why the Adderall isn't working either. Addies are GREAT for a short burst.

And no, these medicines are bad enough. Basically they're prescription speed, so I'd avoid the energy drinks as to not kill your heart at such a young age. My mother was a speed abuser (pills and meth) and at 53, she's had 3 heart attacks AND now has congestive heart failure. Besides that, as Vyvanse and Adderall both reduce saliva and increase the risk of cavities, I would REALLY avoid energy drinks or anything sugary period.

Also, do you take your meds on the weekends? Unless something important comes up, maybe you shouldn't. The break will cause your tolerance to lower AND you can use the extras when you need them because you feel you are crashing too early in the day. That's what I do.
