Your MD might give you a bronchodialator such as Albuterol as well as antibiotics. You can try Mucinex, but I have found breathing steam from a hot shower helps immensely, as does having a humidifier in your bedroom at night.
I had that last week (and still fighting through it). Went to the doctor and she prescribed a bronchiodilater to open up my bronchial tubes. Then she said to take Mucinex to help it even more.

Omg I hate bronchitis I have it chronically. I get It every year for about 3 months. This may sound gross but do a lot of loogies, you got to clear out your lungs. Go to the doctors also they will give you breathing treatment that has the worse side effects ever or maybe thats just me but that **** was the worst day of my life. You'll need to get some medicine also. Ive probably had the worst of it, I don't know bout you but it goes away very slowly. stay away from running and doing sports for a while you'll cough so bad..
