Help! - What's the fastest way of recovering from vomiting bug?!

Question: I am due for 14 hour flight in 2 days.

Answers: I am due for 14 hour flight in 2 days.

Eat light meals - very plain (rice, pasta, toast), avoid dairy products, drinks lots and lot of water and rest as much as possible.

Poor you ;(

The best way is to drink plenty of fluids. Many old wives will suggest cream soda, but that's up to you. Stay indoors, rest, don't exert yourself too much, and if you feel like eating have a very light diet

just take it easy and don't eat or drink anything that upsets your stomach hopefully you heal up in time

I am going through that very recovery right now. Lots of fluids (try Gatorade). And light foods (soups, and grains like rice). And lots of rest. It's horrible I know. Feel better soon.

no fast way except sleeeep sleeep and more sleeeeeep.
keep drinking lots of fluids (NO alcohol) and eat when you can...try having toast and more dry foods.

sleeep and sleep and sleep....but i don't think your gonna be OK in 2 days not if its the novovirus...it floored me for 3 weeks and I'm a healthy adult....3 weeks later Ive got it again.

not fair on all the other people on your flight either matey...sorry!

why are you still reading this...sleeeeeeeeep!!!!

Lots of Sleep. LOTS of water, and green tea/herbal tea with nothing in it. Tylenol to get you fever down. eat very lightly if you can keep things down (chicken broth, toast with butter if you have to, crackers) Nothing too harsh. And keep warm. Take baths with epsom salts. Take very good care of yourself. Don't go overboard eating when you feel better either.

You poor thing!!!!!

Stay in bed, take sips of water until you feel ready to eat again...and start off with toast. Ask for an antiemetic at the pharmacy...but really it is better out than in (as awful as it is).

If you are still feeling dreadful...Don't get on that flight...you'll infect everyone else and they will have the worst possible start to their holiday or trip!!!

drink a super large glass of warm salt water, chug it.
this should swell up your stomach, get everything out.

warning, this will make you throw up.
it will completely empty your stomach.

but you should feel much better, and not have the dry heaves.

only drink sips of water from a pint you have made up containing a teaspoon of sugar and a pinch of salt. If you get hungry then niblel on an arrowroot biscuit. Old fashioned remedies but they work.

flush your system out and have a detox (only drink smoothys and stuff like that / water) to get all the toxins outta ur systems

fasting is all i can bring to mind

add 1 teaspoon of sugar, half a teaspoon of salt to boiled water. fill a 1 litre jug of boiled water, cool it. drink it as much as you can. make sure that you drink at least a litre of that water. i give the same to my 5 year old son. he doesn,t like it because its horrible,so i usually give him on a spoon from half a cup until all is finished. he always gets better. vomiting leaves you dehydrated, and that water is part of aiding rehydration. avoid drinking any thing runny like milk, soups and so on. if you had to eat any thing, don,t put either oil, salt or any spice. just eat it natural. you will get better in time if you are strict to your self.
