I am not hypoglycemic but my daughter is. We found out 2 years ago, she would get up in the mornings and almost passout in the shower, one morning she called me in to the bathroom and she was pale and nauseated, disoriented, ready to passout. I took her immediately to the doctor for blood work her bloodsugar was 59. Her first symptom is usually a headache, then progresses through irritability, nervousness, nasuea, disorientation, visual disturbaces, depending on how low, if she catches it when it is first starting she does alright, she has glucose tablets and protein foods, and usually gatorade with her at all times. but she does fine she has learned how to treat it at the first symptoms.
