Dont listen to the haters...its perfectly normal.....but if you want to try to keep this from happening again here is a good way to help......pour a cap full of hydrogen peroxide in your ear...keep head slanted for about 2 mins....then flip over to let it all drain out....the hydrogen will loosen the sticky wax and allow it to drain alot easier...also the reason for the smell is also normal......wax build up mixed with drainage from sinuses and pollutions can cause a mild fowl odor.....hope this helps hugs - gomez

In Argentina we take 2 or 3 bathes a day.(Early in the morning and when we go to bed) I think we are the cleanest people in the world so I can`t understand what are you thinking when you have your ears so dirty!!!
try almond oil it is good.
I had to get my ears "flushed" by the doctor. So much wax came out, it was quite gross, lol. Afterwards it felt great, but I had a headache from it. It is funny because I want to the doctor for a completely different reason, and they looked in my ears and decided to flush them. I was like "er... okay...?"
