Ms. pain and fatigue?!

Question: Ive done so much research on ms and I cannot find any drug that helps for the pain and fatigue. Ive spent so much on prescriptions the doc gave me and nothing helps. I do,however refuse to go into the opiate family. I just want to know how other MS people deal with the raw symptoms.

I've been hearing some good reports on provigil (modafinil) for fatigue. What kind of pain are you experiencing ? nerve pain or muscle pain due to spasticity?
I take amitriptyline for nerve pain, it deadens it a little bit but not much. I have recently tried a chiropractor ( twice this week) with fantastic results. Nerve pain which has been a constant throb at the base of my spine has gone completely, first tome in 5 years!
I'm also using tizanidine for spasticity which is working ok but not 100%. Seems to help my legs but not my back.
I'm also on gabapentin for pins and needles and cramps.

I have found that smoking a lil weed helps with leg cramps and to sleep better at night

Ever since I went onto Tysebra my fatigue, and brain MS fog improved drastically.

There is nothing wrong with codeine, if you need it. If you don't use it as a recreational drug, no danger to be hooked on it.

Did you know that patients with Multiple sclerosis should add antibiotics, especially Minocin, to their current medications, benefiting from both standard treatment and antibiotics?
