Details about a hyperactive thyroid?!
Question: I found out a have a hyperactive thyroid. Normal range is 2.0-5.5 and my test came back at 6.5. So I kinda looked on webmd.com but I didnt know if someone else could give me details until I see the doctor on Friday.

Are you talking about the TSH test? If so, you are hypothyroid, not hyperthyroid. Normal TSH is 0.3 to 3.0. Some outdated labs have range at 0.3 to 5.5. A TSH below 0.3 is hyper and above 3.0 is hypo.
I'll give you symptoms of both conditions just in case it was not a TSH test you had.
Hyper - headaches, fast heart rate, anxiety, weight loss, diarrhea, nervousness, increased sweating.
Hypo - headaches, fatigue, depression, weight gain, constipation, low body temp, brain fog, muscle and joint aches, fertility issues, ridged fingernails, sleep apnea
