Do you or does anyone you know have Meniere's Disease?!
Question: If so, how awful is it? How has it changed your life? Are you able to work, play, enjoy life?

Yes, I met a Medical Missionary returning from Nepal who was disabled by Meniere's vertigo, ringing of the ears, and deafness that waxed and waned.
He could no longer practice medicine and could not function, so he was returning to the USA to seek treatment.
Here is a good clear explanation of the understanding we have of it.

I believe it is more than one closely related syndrome, and know that it affects people to various degrees, from incapacitating- as the missionary- to occasional difficulty. There are several related "causes" and several degrees of affect, so what is true for one, is not for another.
