R u sure.......a doctor can cure?!

Question: truth is, medical doctors dont cure you, they'll find the best way to limit your disease so you can try to live longer but they dont want to cure you. if they cure you, they go out on business, and so do pharmacies. in the end its all bout the money. I know alot of people are gonna disagree with me but its true, in certain cultures they found natural cures for diseases yet here we gotta take X amount of pills a day just to keep the disease under control.

Depends on what it is that needs curing??? Medical science has many wondrous medicines at its disposal, but not everything can be cured!

I am sure a doctor can cure most of the illnesses. They can also alleviate the pain and suffering of the patient.

Well depends on what is the problem !

I have little faith in doctors, after all they follow hospital rules and procedures which are developed and crafted trom the policies of insurance companies and the more that is spent, the higher premiums are justified to become. In my opinion the entire system is corrupt.

To answer your question though, by law, "only" doctors can "cure".... even if someone else gets rid of the problem, they can't legally say they "cured" anything... legalities, have to hate the legal system

A Doctor's job is to prolong life and improve the quality of someones life!

yes depending upon the problem

no, a doctor cant cure your ........?

Whether or not something can be cured depends on the disease process. For certain diseases that are acute like pneumonia, yes, there is a cure--you can go to the hospital short of breath, febrile and very sick, and after treatment with antibiotics, etc, the pneumonia is effectively cured.

However, many illnesses that are chronic, such as diabetes, cannot be "cured" but just managed with medications--diabetics on insulin will have to take insulin forever unless they get a pancreas transplant, and even then there are issues with transplant rejection or immunosuppression. The role of doctors in such chronic illnesses is to help patients get treated and have a better quality of life, i.e. slow down the progression of disease, minimize complications, improve symptoms.

It is true that insurance companies finance medical care, but what is the alternative? Paying out of pocket is just not feasible. Ultimately what tests or treatment you get in hospitals is decided by the team of doctors, and doctors try to do what is best for the patient in order to provide the standard of care.

a doctor can treat you, cure depends on many other factors, like, the seriousness of the illness, age, mental state,,,,,
