How to get rid of stretch marks?!

Question: Hello...

Can you help me how to get rid of these stretch marks? It's really irritating me, haha! The marks are white and they said that it can't be healed anymore? Is that true?

Thanks!

From what I know, cocoa butter seems to work for the prevention of stretch marks, but not the treatment of. The only way to see results is to go see a dermatologist and get a lot of expensive treatments done, none of which will completely diminish them. After time, they will continue to get lighter and lighter on their own and eventually become *NEARLY* unnoticeable. One thing I've learned, though, is that like 99% of all people I know have stretch marks. When I was in high school, I got them on my legs and I thought I was the ONLY person in the world who had them. Little did I know that my boyfriend had them, my best gay friend had them, my best girlfriend had them, and so did several other friends. Some would point them out and other times I'd have to see them in a bathing suit. If that many TEENAGERS have them, then how many other people do you think have them? It's not uncommon, I'm not overweight and as a matter of fact the majority of my friends who I noticed had them were either average weight or very thin. I've come to accept mine, and although I am not confident wearing shorts and the like, it's much easier to come to terms with them than to invest time and money into getting rid of them. If you really feel like you need to get rid of them, then by all means go for it. This is just my opinion. :) Good luck!

The over the counter stretch mark creams do very little to fade these. Your only sure way to get rid of them is to go to a laser clinic and have them removed. Otherwise, you are stuck with them for life.

try some white, warm, creamy lotion (the kind that is mostly protein)

Try coconut butter. It works for some people.

the longer that they are there the more they will fade but if you tan in a tanning bed i have found that helps them fade more.
but they will never go away for good. don't feel bad they are usually from having babies and then we as mothers can call them trophies. i have many my bellies looks to me like a road map.

they will never completely go away.....trust me I have tried effin' everything

Once your stretch marks have turned white and aren't red any more, that's the best they're going to get. Crap, isn't it?

but don't worry. over 85% of all women get stretch marks at some point or other.

Try Palmer's cocoa butter, I used it throughout my pregnancy and especially when I got huge all of a sudden and now 5 months later you can barely see them on my stomach. I just have to hit the darker ones on my sides.
But the Palmer's works good and it smells good too!!!

Strivectin or coconut oil, pure form the pharmacy. or Mederma for scars
