Question: what causes skin tags? how do you treat them and possibly get rid of them. i have developed a few in my armpit area and its very painful. any advice would be helpful. thanks!!

Some skin tags are caused just because its an area where clothing often rubs against skin, like a super blister of sorts. If you get them more frequently and in other locations, it could be due to a hormone imbalance (though this is more common in women). I used to get them under my eyes because of sun damage. There are several treatment methods and over-the-counter medications, such as freeze sprays used for wart removal, straight up cutting off with a pair of nail scissors or seeing a doctor who will cut it off with more expensive nail scissors. It will be sore for a few days and may bleed, but should be fine in the long run. Hope this helps.
never heard of this! u could wash your arm pits with germ -X or go see a Dr.
I dont know what causes them, but Iheard if you tie a string around it.. in a few days it falls off.
