Has anyone ever used Accutane? If yes, what is your opinion on it?!

In response to the person above, you don't always get a relapse.
in fact only 20% of patients do.
it'll clear your face up
but 3 or 4 years later when you're off it, you'll get recession
which means you'll get even WORSE acne after.
you'll body will become really dry when on the pills and a lot of blood checks because it can damage organs.
also for suicidal tendencies in teens.
this should be the last resort for acne.
Have you ever tried Pro-Active, I'm not some Jessica Simpson clone, I don't make a cent from them (honest) from the time I was 10 I have had acne (I'm 30) I did different anti-biotics, different topicals, retin-A, two courses of accutane and they had minimal effect - Pro-Active has helped beyond belief - I started using it five years ago and never once thought it would help... But it does, seriously... Needless to say I was not all that impressed by Accutane given the amount of time spent doing to get blood tests and back and forth to the doctor (I also did at one point get rushed to a neurologist for a possible brain tumour - it wasn't, but I had two weeks of headaches that were killing me)
I`ve used it. I don`t advise it if you don`t have a serious acne problem.
