How is getting an STD an advantage?!

Question: Look beyond the question.

Answers: Look beyond the question.

there really isnt an advantage, its just you start paying more attention to things such as, how much you can prevent and things like that, you learn more about you, and about people in general, you start looking at who you really think is your friend and who you could trust with info like this and hope they wont turn around and use it on you..

Why would you even want too. Do you think that a sexual disease is funny? It's really a shame that a person woud get it. If they are old enough for sex, then they should also be mature enough to use protection.

I cant see one single advantage of getting an STD

DK: STD/STI are terrible infections to get via sex! There is no advantage to getting an STD/STI...only if you want a bad name and poor health that goes with it! (from all the meds-antiviral/antibiotics that you have to take to suppress/cure it) Not really a humorous issue here...:O(

If this question is a way of looking at the bright side, i would say that you are more cautious of your sleeping partners. You become more well informed. You learn the true risks, and you can help protect people you care about.

1.) If you get all of the STD's, then you no longer have to worry about getting them.

2.) If your on a scavenger hunt, and STD's are on your list, you can check it off.

3.) If you get warts you can shove your whoo haaa in the produce section, next to the cauliflower, and trick people.

Sharing is caring.

It will teach you to have protected sex hopefully but I know some people will never learn, that's why I am REALLY careful because I live in a college town and see what goes on. It makes my heart sad, so many people get hurt with irresponsible sex.

The only advantage of getting an STD is that you are 10 times more likely to get HIV if you are exposed.

Not odds I'd be willing to take.
