Can lymphatic cancer or do you have to have some other cancer first that spreads!
Question: yes, you can have cancer of the lymph nodes without it having to have come from another type of cancer, although this is also possible. cancer of the lymph nodes is called lymphoma. most lymphomas are b-cell but, there is also a t-cell type. most b-cell types are easier to treat but, also have a high reoccurance. the t-cell types are harder to treat but, have a low reoccurance. the b-cell types tend to be aggressive (fast-growing) and the t-cell types tend to be indolent (slow-growing).

Yes you can, it's called Lymphoma which originates in the lymphatic system. Other cancers can spread to the lymph nodes but Lymphoma starts directly in that system.
