Is antibiotic Levaquin good??!
Question: I received a levaquin prescription today for an infection, wheezing, etc.
It seems to already have helped after just 12 hours.
Is that possible?
I already feel better.
Does anyone know if this is a good antibiotic for long-term
effectiveness and also no bad reactions? I am going to work
while on it so I don't want to be throwing up from it or anything at the office.
I think it is related to Cipro.

I received it after the first antibiotic didn't work for a sinus infection last year and it was A*W*E*S*O*M*E!!!
I felt better really fast and I'd def recommend it, although a co-worker of mine recently had it and she got a little stomach upset (no vomiting) from it.
I had no side affects, but I typically don't from most meds.

yep, it's a great antibiotic. All drugs have side effects but you seem to be doing fine on it. :)
I don't think that levaquin is in the same category
as Ciproflaxin (Cipro),
It is an excellent antibiotic and you should feel
better soon.
If you want more info on it just Google it.
Levaquin (Levofloxacin) is in the same class of antibiotics as Cipro (ciprofloxacin).
It is a popular choice for respiratory infections.
It does not have many serious side effects.
Just don't take it with iron or dairy products, that will inactivate it.
