Serious cold sore help please!!?!
Question: I got my first cold sore a month after I started dating my now husband. That was July 2005, I got my next one October 2006 and then I got one 8 days ago. So its been once every 15 months or so. I never had them before him and he told me hes gotten them for a long time, so I know he gave it to me. Anyways, I got this most recent one 8 days ago, it is almost completely gone, only a tiny bit if dry skin is there and I am wondering is it bad that I gave my husband oral sex and then we had sex tonight? I am not going to be able to sleep cuz its bugging the crap out of me. I have read online that once it scabs over it is pretty much over with so am I panicking for nothing? We have never had any kind of sore down there or nothing. Thanks to answers.

You are most likely fine. For now don't worry about what you can't change! However It is wise to make sure that such things are completely healed before such activities. When in doubt you can always wash him before hand - he might like that!!! Have fun!!
cold sores don't spread to genetilia, although cold sores are a type of herpes they are so widespread that everyone tends to get them... if you got them from your husband, its really unfair to blame him as its something that everyone tends to have and no one, even the medical community, ever worries about... they are infrequent, they don't spread to other areas, they are common in the populace (virtually everyone gets them including children... its more strange that you didn't used to get them then it is that your husband does)
Oh me, you still can transfer the virus to the genital areas, It is best not to be in contact when an outbreak is present, or when you think an outbreak is happening, sometimes, people dont even realize they have an outbreak, use condom when giving oral sex, best just to stay away for awhile.
