i suffer from panic attacks, and im only 15
i have those exact symptoms. EXACT SYMPTOMS
no different
i start off crying, then breath shallowly, hiccup, and i shake heaps as i calm down
i have had about 5,= attacks, and i often wonder why it began in the first place after i calm down.
yeah, they are panic attacks.
what i do is pretend that i need to move in slow motion. i isolate myself for the crying part then just breathe slowly, move slowly, focus on one thing in the room, and this usually works.

(also its not always sad crying, its more sad to begin then just goes haywire and uncontrollable for me)

you cannot die from panic. you cant stop breathing because a part of youre brain forces you to breathe when it laks oxygen. This is why people drown, because the brain makes the reflex to breathe when you dont have enough oxugen.

you dont need medication, or even see a docter unless you get them like mor than once every 10 days or so. ppl generally get over them after a while.

It does sound like you might have had a panic attack. But you say it happened only once, "under HUGE pressure".

I wouldn't worry about it unless you have attacks frequently, or for more trivial reasons.

Sounds more like hysterical crying, it could have been a slight panic attack, but usually you know if you have had one they are very frightening.

If you are suffering from depression then see your docter

Hope this helped good luck xxx
