Glucose tolerance testing doesn't always do the job you are wanting to know. Have you had a blood draw done? Get complete blood count blood draw done and also lipids panel. Get a copy of the blood workups, past and present and compare them. You paid for them and are entitled to copies.

The line to look at is HbA1c. If it is less than 5.5 she is good on glucose level. HbA1c is accumulative percentage of glucose sticking to red blood cells. It is average of the last 90 days.

You should also look at the kidney function lines and some others. You can google any and all of the unfamiliar results and see what they mean.

There are a lot of things besides diabetes that may cause this problem. Need to find a doctor who takes her seriously.

i used to pee a lot and drink an excessive amount of fluids i was aslo tired all the time. i had tests done and was found out to have low iron levels. could this be a possiablty

Could be a kidney infection...that would explain the frequent urination and extreme thirst.

Sounds like a mystery diagnosis show I saw on TV. It was about Diabetes Insipidus. Go to http://health.discovery.com/encyclopedia... I knew being a TV nut would pay off some day.
