I have spent a ton of money on my face and have had various procedures done. I have to tell you microdermabrasion is my least favorite: it is expensive and doesn't really do anything. There are some products that claim to produce effects like microderm., but if you want it done correctly it needs to be done at a skin care salon. A single session is usually about $80 minimum, and they will try to tell you that you need 4-6 sessions to produce best results. I got suckered into this on a few occassions, and several hundred dollars later, my skin didn't look any better. RetinA is a brand name prescription, it is a retinol, a very pure form of vitamin A. Retin A needs to be prescribed by a doctor, but you can buy retinol creams online that are quite strong ( I use one) that will do the same thing for your skin. I use retinol cream for anti-aging stuff (pigment issues, wrinkling) but it is also used to treat acne. The one is use is by La Roche Posay and it is called retinol cream 60. You said your skin is very bad--do you mean acne wise? If that is the case, I would recommend chemical peels. I buy at home chemical peel kits from makeupartistschoice.com. They are awesome, and my skin has looked beautiful since I started using the glycolic peels. Plus they are cheap and a tiny bottle lasts forever. Doing peels at home is much cheaper than getting them done at a salon. Lastly, you could go to a skin care clinic and the consultations are free, and you can see what they recommend. Even if you don't like their idea of what procedures they want to do, you might come away with some good products that will help your skin. If you have acne, microdermabrasion is not the way you want to go though. Good luck!

deffinately get oil of olay
thts what iget
you can get it from local skin care facilities
or from those AVON stores.

however, it is about $30.00
for a little thing of it.

but it works wonders
and you may not notice a change instantly but keep using it, it will work. :]

I hope i could help. :]

Unless your skin is clear don't do it till your skin is clear. If you want to clear up your skin fast try Retin-A then use the microdermabrasion to help fade away, scare, wrinkles, and discoloration in the skin. It does make your skin very dry if you get it professionally done, and you have to go back from multiple sessions for it to work. I suggest to just use Retin-A which does the same thing over time and you can purchase Neutrogena's microdermabrasion kit.

home microdermabrasion treatments are not very good if u need alot of help with ur skin especially not for the first time the work better as a continued maintenance treatment. if ur skin is bad u should go see a dermatologist for a purisan peel. it is done all over the face and the neck the results are great. but if u'd rather go with the home tx then oil of olay's is prob the best there is a jar of gritty gel that u rub on ur face first in a circular motion for a minute or 2 then u apply a clear gel rub that into the gel already on ur face it will warm up . rub that in a circular motion till it feels like the crystals are all melted let sit for a min then rinse with warm water.
