You should NEVER stop taking this kind of medication cold turkey. With medication such as percocet, you should decrease the dosage slowly over a period of time (usually over a few weeks, or even months.) Slow withdrawal is the best way to go. Perhaps you should take half of your normal dosage right now, and see if that helps. If it does, continue on half a dose regularly for a few weeks, and then cut that dosage in half, etc etc.

You need to wait it out. Sleep. Take something to help you sleep it out. After a couple of days you will be feeling better. Or see the doc.

lay off the percocetand make an appt NOW with your doc.. tell him about how you goth ooked on percocet and seeif there are any alternatives.. in the mean time take some otc motrin or tylenol

I had to wean myself off of Zoloft ( i have severe anxiety) a couple years ago. I clearly remember the agony. Man I was miserable. Do you have meds for your anxiety? Xanax, Klonopin, etc? If so those should help a pretty good bit. If not, there may be no other choice but to see your doctor. Good luck. Hope you feel better soon.
