Does the human body build-up resistance to the winter vomiting virus?!

You can get it again apparently, they were discussing it on Jeremy Vine's Radio 2 show a few weeks ago.
My hubby also says you can get it again repeatedly, he a Dr.
no, no resistance you can get it again if you are un lucky enough.
Afraid not, the clue is in the name, winter vomiting 'virus' - because viruses are perpetually mutating,the human body can only build up resistance to bacterial infections, not viral.
